A collection of places where art inspires and lives in each of us. Whether wandering a gallery or sitting on your front porch, art is there if you look closely. Let this inspire you to look a little longer at the beauty and awe in the everyday-ness of life.

There's always a lure to get me to the Met in NYC but with "Guitar Hero" in the exhibit title, everyone here wanted to go! We made it the day before the show closed so the museum was packed (on a holiday weekend who knew everyone would be in an art museum??). We were treated to 400 year old ebony and ivory inlaid guitars, exquisitely carved guitars and elegant arch body guitars. Of course, what's a guitar show without mentioning Paul Simon?
BTW: these guitars were all created by Italian luthiers!!

My favorite guitar hero and luthier: Steve with Sarah.
