You know my affection for clotheslines, so when the West Hartford Art League sponsored an exhibition via the clothesline, I was there! The WHAL had a wonderful turnout to the event assembled on the green by Blue Back Square including: individuals together with families making mosaics, and kids along side pros painting their hearts out!

A few weeks before, I enjoyed some 'student time' with my artist/teacher friend Susan, who graciously invited me for batik lessons. Here are some of the results:
Tools of the trade: hand made print blocks and buckets of dye. |
Susan's backyard improv studio and her batiks. |
My fabrics getting a second layer of wax. |
