Viola Davis got Oscar buzz for her performance in “The Help,” and if haven’t seen it yet, you can for free on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at West Hartford Public Library, 20 S. Main St.; on Friday at 1 p.m. and Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. at Hall Memorial Library in Ellington; and on Monday, Dec. 12, at 6:30 p.m. at Cora J. Belden Library, 33 Church St., Rocky Hill. It is rated PG-13.
