The gallery space represents the Arts Council's role in supporting local artists by providing a venue for fine art in a public gallery setting and increasing the awareness of local artists within the Greater Hartford community. |

Vicente Garcia, Simsbury artist and Professor of Art at Central Connecticut State University, presents an exhibit of large-scale sculptures made from re-bar, steel, brass and copper finished with natural rusting, chemical patinas, polishing, grinding and torching in a continued exploration of plasticity, movement and aesthetics.
