TOM YOST

CAPTURED MOMENTS

Behnke Doherty Gallery

September 27th through November 11th

The Behnke Doherty Gallery is pleased to announce its next exhibition, Captured Moments, featuring new oil paintings by Tom Yost.  This is Yost’s second one man show at the gallery.  The exhibition runs from September 27th through November 11th.  There is an artist reception on Saturday September 29th from 4-7 pm.

Tom Yost continues his exploration of the captivating landscapes of Connecticut’s Litchfield Hills.  Bringing his customary intense realism and compositional sensibility to each work, Yost again demonstrates why he is one of the pre-eminent landscape artists painting today.  His ability to preserve the sense of a moment in time remains extraordinary.

The Behnke Doherty Gallery is located at 6 Green Hill Road in Washington Depot, CT. Fall hours are Friday and Saturday from 11-5 and Sunday from 12-4.  For further information contact the gallery at 860-868-1655 or at info@behnkedoherty.com .

ArtAround grew out of the art walk that was part of WECA’s Jane Jacob’s Walks in 2010.  According to Cathy Bates, who organized that walk as well as this one, “ArtAround is a great opportunity to bring together and showcase the diverse artists in this vibrant West End community.”   For info, 860-233-7852 or http://www.westend.org
