Got it Bad for the Blues

If you've ever loved the blues, Chicago is your kinda town.  We caught Buddy 'in house' at the end of the bar in his Legends Club, what a highlight. Not only did he treat his patrons to "Champagne" but he graciouly chatted and signed autographs.  We were in blues heaven!

Double-billed blues club Kingston Mines was a double dose of hot blues, alternating band in the same night!

so the Fonk Cirkis can pick 'em:  taking us out to Infinity Hall on a weeknight to see Eric Sardinas - it was totally worth the late night drive home. I've never seen an aggressive blues player like this!!  He's also a generous musician, taking time to talk after the show.

Balkun Brothers Blues Band has made it to the Finals of the CT Blues
Society Band Challenge. If they win they'll advance to the national
competition in Memphis TN. So please come out and see them perform their best blues yet!
