(sculpture and multi-media drawing) at the Ethel Walker School.

The art of communication - ideas and messages are brought to life through minimalist shapes and geometrical text. Each of the four featured artist draw their influences from methods of communication, from graffiti and text messaging to to the expression of complex theories such as philosophy and medicine. Featuring the works of Michael Cerullo, Jean Alexander Frater, Laura Sue Phillips and Karen Vogel.

This years annual regional exhibit will be in both our galleries from May 1 - June 15th.

Deadline for digital entries is April 4.

Receiving of work in person is Saturday April 5, 2014.

Best of Show is a $1,000 cash prize, plus a one person exhibit in our of our two galleries during the 2014 - 2015 gallery season. There is also an additional $1,000 worth of prizes, gift certificates and awards.

Art Exhibition: March 1 - April 27

February 10, 2014, Pomfret, CT . . . Celebrations Gallery & Shoppes invites you to join us for an art exhibition that heralds spring and features local talent Frances Kornbluth, Donna O'Scolaigh Lange, and Ann Rosebrooks. Join this trio of friends for a Meet the Artists Reception on Saturday, March 1st from 4 - 7 pm, with complimentary refreshments and live music by Peter Lange. All are welcome to this free event.

Join these three well-established artists from the Quiet Corner to welcome spring and enjoy an in-depth exploration of their latest work. After the opening reception, “Terzetto; Expressions of Spring” can be viewed at Celebrations through April 27.
