Through the generosity of our gracious friend, Clare Brett Smith, we will perform in Farmington, on Tuesday, July 22nd at her home on Mountain Spring Road. We'll be playing a diverse blend of original and traditional folk songs, separately and together.

Light refreshments will be served and attendance is free (though donations are always gratefully accepted). RSVP'ing welcome but not required.

Cantrell-Friday Summer Show

Recent paintings by Helen Cantrell, Judy Friday and new artists are featured in gallery19 this July and August. Cantrell and Friday’s bold expressionist paintings are summertime-themed in vivid new palettes, many works depicting the landscapes of Old Lyme, its shores and salt marshes. Gallery19 was recently featured in a full-page article in Venü magazine (click here to go to the magazine).

Sculptor Patricia Kelley-Borchert is showing sensuous alabaster, limestone and “Wizard’s Myst” black granite works, which take off from nature but become their own abstract worlds.

Our summer hours are Thursday through Sunday from 11 to 5 pm, or, as always, by appointment. Stop in to see what’s new--we look forward to seeing you soon.

"Well, what do you love most?"
That's how I started painting money.
