Homage to Saint Joseph is a sculptural exhibition by Connecticut artist, Stephen J. Balkun.

The Connecticut Historical Society is excited to partner with Speak Up to bring their unique brand of engaging storytelling to our members and visitors. The theme for this performance is “Patios, Pools and the American Backyard,” which is in association withPatios, Pools, & the Invention of the American Backyard, an upcoming traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian Institution, which will be on display beginning December 18th.

This event is $15 for CHS members and $20 for non-members.
Tickets are available online until 5:00 pm, and then will be available at the door beginning at 6:45 pm on the night of the performance. Galleries will be accessible from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Complimentary snacks, wine, beer and soft drinks are included.

SCMA is pleased to collaborate with Visual AIDS and the Smith College Poetry Center for a program observing Day With(out) Art. Highlighting the impact of art in contemporary AIDS activism and advocacy, the program will feature new short videos from six inspiring community organizations and collectives -- ACT UP NYPositive Women's NetworkSero ProjectThe SPOTTacoma Action Collective, and VOCAL NY.

The screening will be followed by a 
community discussion with artist, Macon Reed.
