City Views: in and out

Big cities offer an abundance of art venues, and I recently landed among the best.  Fasten your seat belts, you're in for the motor tour.

Boston:
Inside - the Boston Public Library exhibits work from Mix-it Print Studio, the breadth of the work was spectacular!

Outside - Sunset at Fenway and Graffiti art celebrating Marathon Monday

New York:
Inside - The Whitney Biennial (not my favorite show this time around).
Outside - Plein Air on Madison Avenue!

Philadelphia:
Inside - Fiber Philadelphia exhibits all over the city (woo hoo!).  Here's a sampling of my favorites - It is difficult to choose !
Jessica Hemmons Yarn Bombing in City Hall
Erin Endicott at Borowsky Gallery

Sonya Clark at Synerman-Works Gallery (made from hair combs)
Diem Chau at Wexler Gallery - embroidery over tea cups
Donna Rosenthal at Wexler Gallery
Check out more at http://www.wexlergallery.com/ - love this gallery!

Outside - mural on Waverly Street near Rittenhouse Square
and the Boss exhibit at the Constitution Center!

Got a lot of art miles per gallon, I think!
