On the third Thursday of every month, creative people come together for conversation, art and music.
In December, CCH is a new twist on the standard holiday party. We're having our first Silent Disco, a party where the crowd dances to DJ that plays through individual wireless headphones instead of our house system. Take off your headset and you'll see a full-blown dance party - in silence!
The music starts at 8PM, but show up early to grab your headphones before our limited quantity runs out!
December CCH also features SlideSlam, a projection of images of artwork submitted for Step Up 2011. The staff selected these as favorites from over 120 submissions. (My own art images are included in the Slide Slam!)

Thurs. Dec. 20, 8 pm, Steve Balkun Blues-a-thon: Steve is the recent CT Blues Society solo/duo act winner and will represent CT in the International Blues Competition in Jan. 2013. Steve and his band, the Balkun Brothers Blues Band will perform for a fundraiser to support his upcoming trip to Memphis, starting at 8 pm. You can also grab a copy of their cd for your Xmas stocking!
