New Art at Gallery 19

15 March 2014

Come visit us for local color--we have fabulous new finds and artwork to show you:

We’ve just hung a suite of new prints from Judy Friday’s portfolio of work published as “A Year at Tiffany Farm.”  This photographic journey through the seasons on one of the few remaining small New England dairy farms is a local classic; Tiffany Farms, in Lyme, CT, has been in one family for six generations.  Judy’s love of animals led her to paint and sculpt the cows there; that led on to wanting to get a good record of everything on the farm from spring to winter.  Judy is also currently accepting commissions for dog and pet portraits; call the gallery or stop in for a free consult.

We have a new set of six small abstract paintings by Fred Trinkaus of Chester. These tiny, brilliant works have evocative titles including “Crime Fiction” and “Watching Ruby Dream.” And we are pleased to also add to our gallery Will Holub, currently of Mystic, three of whose glowing, layered and subtle abstract white and red works are on display.
