At the heart of my art is an awareness of the spiritual timelessness dancing within constant change. Flowers are beautiful and also short-lived. Ocean waves tumble so fast. No matter what I look at, my connection with nature is being fed, fueling further visual sensing, loving and understanding. It is a delight for me to be fully present painting from nature.

The exhibition may be viewed by appointment.

Art Guild of Middletown: Exhibition 2015, the Guild’s 12th annual juried art show, will be held from June 08th to June 20rd at the Zilkha South Gallery, Center for the Arts, Wesleyan University on 283 Washington Terrace, Middletown, Connecticut.

We invite artists from Connecticut and beyond to showcase their work and we invite members of our local community and surrounding communities to take the opportunity to see and buy the works of fine art created by these artists.

You are invited to our opening reception which is Saturday, June 13th from 7pm to 9pm at the Zilkha Gallery. Here you will have the opportunity to meet the artists, members of the Guild and fellow supporters of the visual arts that include many members of the Greater Middletown business and civic community. If you wish, you will also have the opportunity to buy many of the works of art that that you will see.

This annual fundraising event is not the work of one or two people. It could not take place if it were not for the generosity of the administration of Wesleyan University, the artists whose creative works are so appreciated, the many members of Art Guild of Middletown who volunteer their time and effort to help organize and bring to fruition this wonderful event and the many supporters of the arts who contribute to and attend our exhibitions.

Feel free to contact artguildofmiddletown@gmail.com  with questions.

We look forward to seeing you at the Reception
