THE MARY PAINTINGS: Expressions of the Divine Feminine
by: Catherine Steinberg — Participating Artist in the Shoreline Arts Trail Opening Reception: Sunday, May 31st, 2:00-4:00 pm
Exhibit dates: 5/31—7/31
The Mary Paintings are aspects of the Divine Feminine that were conceived by Catherine Steinberg through dreams and shamanic journey work from January thru June, 2011. They were inspired by reading about Mary Magdalene and her work with women in psychotherapy and expressive arts. Catherine believes that the Divine Feminine is revealing Herself more and more at this time to support the evolution of consciousness and the energetic alignment of our planet so that we, both men and women, can develop to our highest potential for the greater good and live in universal harmony, peace and love.

Spring Volunteers Day and Evening Illuminations

Spring Volunteers Day - 9am - 3pm
Share
part of your day with us and help with trails maintenance. I-Park's
system of art/nature trails is an important resource that's made
available to our artists and visiting guests. After our long, miserable
winter, there's much need for the picking-up and chipping-up of downed
limbs, safety improvements and other upgrades. We especially want the
trails to be in tip-top condition for our upcoming OPEN Studios | Open Trails,
June 7, which coincides with Connecticut Trails Day. No particular
technical expertise or super-strenuous activity is required. Lunch is on
us!
Spring Illuminations - 7:30pm
Join
us for an intimate evening at I-Park. We'll begin with a wine and
cheese reception in the main courtyard. As the sun sets, select trails
and art installations will be illuminated - and we'll set out for a
guided tour of I-Park Noir. A suggested donation, fully tax deductible,
of $10 per person would be appreciated. All donations help us to
continue providing fully-funded residencies to artists from around the
world. The I-Park Foundation a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation.
We especially hope our Saturday morning volunteers
will return for the evening festivities.
