Art Opening Friday, June 24, 2016 Meet the Artist 6-9 pm Artist Statement: Landscapes from the Multiverse I paint in order to leave this often troubling, "real world", behind. These paintings are of safe havens, sanctuaries, where there are few if any inhabitants, human or otherwise. These paintings are constructed of ambiguous forms, which may suggest a tree, a person, a house, but in actuality are merely our projections. The viewer is invited into these places, invited to let their imaginations transmute and manipulate any and all forms. Perhaps that blue shadow in the left hand corner is the artist, a wanderer, or perchance it is you, the viewer. I hope you enjoy your visit!
