Without giving too much detail to this installation the RWR collaborative will update and document this project as it evolves from the idea, build and launch. Details will be continuously updated via Facebook/Twitter and Instagram, please be sure to check in on a regular basis.
This installation will take place at the Grove, a co-working space located @ 760 Chapel St, New Haven, CT 06510

May 13 - July 1
Opening Reception: Friday, May 13, 5-8pm

Spanish for “I Like the Sound of That”, Me Gusta El Sonida commissions a group of Connecticut-based artists who were raised in bilingual family households to write Artist Statements of 100-200 words. The Statements will identify one key term, phrase, or idea that is key to their practice, but is untranslatable into English from their respective ancestral tongues.  The show revels in the inadequacy of language to fully account for our ideas– creative and so forth.
