FEATURED ARTIST PROJECT
Organized by Alexander Campos, Executive Director & Curator, Center for Book Arts, and Peter Schell, Artist, Instructor, and Naturalist
As the annual artist members’ exhibition, including invited artists, this exhibition presents artists’ books and related works that employ one or more of the senses: hearing, smell, sight, taste, and touch. Alternatively, some works conjure a conceptual idea using one (or more) of the senses, or poetically evoke the senses.

This selection of paintings represents a snapshot of my ongoing struggle to find peace, to establish my place in the world, and to express in paint the unique visual cadence of trees, clouds, sky, and hills…the orderly patterns in nature…my connection…my grounding.

 The Guild of Book Workers Traveling Exhibit: Vessel will be making its final stop at the North Bennet Street School in Boston. Please join North Bennet and the GBW New England Chapter for the opening reception on July 21, 2016 at 6:00 in the evening. In addition to the 50 works on display, three local exhibitors, Erik Demaine, Graham Patten and Colin Urbina, will be present to speak about their piece. Talks will take place around 7:00.
